think of the most shallow things humanity concern themselves with. i'm sure some thoughts have already popped up to your mind: money, clothing, sex... now think of some deeper things. i'm sure most of you will say love. but what if i told you it also doesn't carry that much depth? think about it. love is nothing more but a phenomenon that occurs when our weak, fleshy brains release a hormone named oxytocin. it might feel like the world's greatest gift when you're in love, but that's all that love is: a feeling. you must be very egocentrical to think the world is your perception of it. when you stop feeling and give yourself over to thought, you will see that the most primitive examples of this world are cruel and indifferent. there is no such thing as a universal understanding of morality - everyone knows a different good and bad. if god exists, it is not the god we have imagined it to be. he is not loving, he does not want the best for us, he put us here for one purpose only: survival. but i am rejecting the offer of the universe by the biggest rebellion of all: suicide. this type self-destruction is the epitome of autonomy. society might tell you otherwise; they might tell you about the shallow things mentioned before - different kinds of pleasures. but when you actually open your eyes and cross the normal boundaries of thinking, you will realise that the bad greatly outweight the good. sure, your meal might be tasty, but an animal had to be tortured and killed for it. your new dress might bring you happiness, but a different woman across the world had to make it while being payed 50 cents an hour. all good has a bad side to it. with this knowledge you have two options before you: follow my steps and die or commit to the oblivion and live somewhat happily. the choice is in your hands. you are the one holding your finger on the trigger.

go back to oblivion...
